Social engineering: from scientific action towards pluripolar reflection

When listening to the word Engineering, discipline is often evoked with stereotyped vision: Mathematical training, research and development of technological gadgets and the study of topics related to science; Generating a cold and decontextualized image of Engineering as a science for the study of scientific topics and the creation of useful technological tools for society that receives the benefit of its use and improves its quality of life. The sociological character of Engineering and the configuration of the pluripolar world created the concept of Social Engineering; carrying out an investigation whose General Objective is to create the profile, talents, competencies and areas of Social Engineering exercise, generating a disciplinary - educational method of training of the Social Engineer. The applied methodology of field in the Faculty of Engineering in the University of Carabobo was applied; it was found that the curriculum of the career is linked to the mathematical calculation and little covers the social; the profile was diagnosed and raised, the field is currently being carried out, interviews with authorities, teachers and students from the five schools to structure results from the perspectives, pertinence and demand in multiple knowledge of the engineer in the current world to generate the proposal of Social Engineering for Venezuela, the region and the world, formative of the Social Engineer, subject of panoramic vision of the world that surrounds him, a hybrid balanced between the scientific and the social, the engineer that needs the pluripolar world.
