Abstract

The study was based on delimiting the area of contamination by gasoline, in an environmental sensitivity analysis and in the evaluation of control or mitigation alternatives. It was done through the application of Environmental Impact Evaluation Methodologies being these fundamental tools in pollution studies, where the degree of deterioration of the aquifer is intimately linked with the geometry of the site, with the lithology of the reservoir rock and with the vulnerability of the aquifer to be contaminated.
