Abstract

Inverted pendulums are popular devices for the analysis of non-linear systems, since it is a classic problem in modern control engineering, because their characteristics are common to other processes such as aeronautical applications, mechatronics, chemical processes, among others. These devices, being highly complex and of very specific applications, convert them from an economic perspective into highly expensive equipment, at present the companies that manufacture them for educational purposes are all foreign.
