The infinite challenges of Open Science?

Abstract

Given the civilizational changes that humanity is requiring, Open Science in our region has been introduced as a proposal to advance in the construction of the different paradigmatic options. In this descriptive and argumentative essay, it is proposed to assess some achievements that have been observed in some countries of the Latin American region, and their geopolitical influences on their initiatives, achievements and accumulated learning. Mandatory compliance and due to the various implications it has for the preservation of life on the planet, the domino effect in some events of the climate crisis is analyzed several of these resulting in conditions of irreversibility, and to the point of no return; which not only affects the ecosystems, but also has multiple effects on a global level, considering that most of them are integrated into the Amazonian biome territory. The contribution of our reflection-proposal is concluded by taking into account some references and attributes that bring us closer to the recognition of the Open Science dynamics in the Venezuelan territory; which ensures us to propose initiatives to advance in overcoming the challenges, challenges and scope that, in the national context, are required of us.
