Scientific productivity of Venezuelan researchers on COVID-19, a bibliometric study Jan-uary 2020 to January 2023

The declaration of the global pandemic caused by the SARS-CoV-2 or COVID-19 virus involved the design and implementation of different strategies at the national level to increase the production of scientific research associated with the topic. Observance and analysis are of particular relevance of this scientific productivity, especially that developed by Venezuelan researchers, through a qualitative study on this topic; In this context, the main objective of this article is to provide an analysis of this scientific production, specifically during the period from Ja nuary 2020 to January 2023, finding that of the thirteen (13) scientific repositories consulted, there is a total of 445 intellectual products published in national and international journals by Venezuelan researchers. Demonstrating at the country level the contributions, participation and capacity of Venezuelan researchers within the framework of the development of research and the global collaborative networks that are generated on the topic of COVID-19 with 85 countries.
