Universal values are part of the institutionality of modern societies as they are transmitted by educational systems from where they can be investigated in the reality of everyday life. With respect to this, the present research points to the generation of a model of social representations of the values integrated in the venezuelan citizen identity from the university pedagogical praxis, in order to describe and to interpret the meanings that the teaching actors promoted, which allowed the construction of said model. These social representations are expressed in concepts derived in the course of communications with links between social objects and the world with an individual and collective identity, focused on language with identity indicators that represent opinions, images, attitudes, ideas that allow organizing aspects of their individual and group world, from the university pedagogical practice. Hence, the research was oriented under the qualitative epistemological approach and was approached with the interpretive method. The study data were obtained through the techniques of the focus group and in-depth interview in the Comprehensive Education Degree of the National Polytechnic Experimental University of the National Armed Forces (UNEFA). The epistemological support allowed to describe the empirical components and interpret with the theoretical foundations the different forms of communication and interaction for the understanding of the actors and the observer. Based on the results, a model was created aimed at developing teaching action and theory in cognitive and socio-emotional training, which includes the teaching experience within the university environment.
