Use of ict as a didactic tool in activity teacher in university education institutions

The purpose of this research was to analyze the use of ICT as a didactic tool in the teaching activity in university education institutions. The type of research was descriptive, while the design was field, not experimental. The study population consisted of 122 teachers from the different Degree Training Programs (PFG) of the Bolivarian University of Venezuela, Falcón. As a data collection instrument, a questionnaire-type survey was used, using the Lickert scale consisting of 34 propositions with five alternative answers, which was validated through the expert judgment technique, while reliability was carried out through of a pilot test applied to a group of 18 subjects using the Coefficientof Alpha Cronbach being the value obtained 0.89. The data obtained were presented by indicator through descriptive statistics by means of absolute and relative frequencies, as well as the accumulated frequencies and average results of the indicator. The results obtained allowed to conclude that teachers have a good level of integration, which means that teachers make good use of ICT in their activity as a didactic tool and, in the end, it was recommended that the institution should promote participation and organization as a priority in employment and the applicability of ICT as a didactic tool in educational strategies.
